Tricia’s 4-part poem, Les Filous de la Flûte, will be read by Tessa Brinckman at Brinckman’s “When Flutes Had Words” concert, including a performance of Roussel’s Joueurs de Flûtes (for flute and piano). Each of the four musical movements will be prefaced by one of the four poem parts, which invent new narratives for the mythological flutists (Pan, Tityre, Krishna, and Monsier de la Péjaudie) portrayed in the music.
